Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) are compatible with Galcon’s Galileo family of products and are used on
sites where long distances exist between the controller and field based elements. RTUs allow for the
remote operation of valves, pumps, filter stations, fertilizers and more and for retrieval of data from water
meters and various sensors. RTUs are available in two versions: cable or wireless. Both versions bridge
long distances between controller and the field.
Gal2Way is a battery-powered radio (wireless) RTU that allows for both the remote operation of valves,
pumps, filter stations, fertigation and more and for the retrieval of data from water meters and various
sensors. Operating in non-licensed frequencies, the frequency hopping, automatic routing and repeater
techniques allow for a reliable and robust communication solution.
Gal1Way is a battery-operated radio (wireless) TRU that allows for remote operation of valves, pumps,
filter stations, fertigation and more. Galcon’s Gal1Way is used in areas where there is no requirement to
retrieve data from the field.
CRTU is a also known as Cable RTU and it allows for both the remote operation of valves, pumps,
filter stations, fertigation and more and for the retrieval of data from water meters and various sensors.
CRTUs utilizes high-quality multi-strand communication cable that can be spliced in many directions to
provide sufficient coverage for the most complex field based applications.
